Her tears,.

Poetry By: MAmberConrad
Poetry

A poem found in my trunk of stuff. It's really old. I wrote it just out of high school, I think. It's open to interpretation. Would love to hear what you all think.

HER TEARS
Tears falling from her face
What she saw was such a disgrace
Her shadow saw it all
Her soul felt it fall
Her heart saw the hate
Her mind knows its fate
Her tears, her fears
All those years
The violence, the silence.
Her song says it all
Her mind built a wall
To guard herself from death
To replenish every breath
Give her a dream to dream
Hear her scream
"My tears, my fears
All these years of
The violence
Feel the silence."
