Not much to say about this piece, except that I wrote it several years ago. Enjoy.

Three Thirty Three
As I stared into your eyes
I wondered where I went wrong
And the more I stared
The more I wondered
Would the love be ever as strong.
I looked away from your face;
The pain, too hard to bear,
It was three thirty three
In the morning, my dear,
And still, you were not there.
I open the book to chapter thirteen
And I had to admit that
I fell in love with what I had seen
But it's three thirty three
In the morning when I awake
And I lie in my bed
My thoughts on you-
My heart you had to take.
And, once again,
As I stared into your eyes
I wondered where I went wrong
And the more I stared
The more I wondered
Would the love be ever as strong.
