The clicks of hens that eat their seed,

The grumble of the noble steeds

A clickety, whack, and then a splat,

Of all the pigs that roam of fat

We gather here together now,

To discuss what will soon become of the cow?

Slaughtered, fried, sizzled, and juiced;

All the animals becoming today’s produce.

Once again, Maple, great poem!

Your poems seem to have a certain sense of humor to them that I like very much. Keep it up!

That was good. I wasn't expecting the whole slaughtering thing at the end. Very nice thought. I could visualize everything.
