Silence is golden
Sometimes a weapon and some-
times a trigger.
Sometimes a picture speaks
louder than words,
Sometimes emotion never gets
heard.
Sometimes a feeling is best left
unsaid,
Sometimes the silence is all in
your head.
For life is alway giving
And asking what you want.
It's in the silence of your breathing,
It's in the beating of your heart,
In the murmor of emotion,
In the contact of an eye,
In the reason of a presence.
It's the reason we are here.
No words were ever spoken
Still contact was made.
In the short term of our being
There was a silence in our hearts.
What were those words we never said?
Yet still we understood.
