love will
bloom
for me
this
summer.

the long winter
of my
discontent
ends
now;
the chill,
the cold,
the unbearable
pain
are melting,
slipping,
sliding
away -
far, far, away.

let me
welcome
true summer
into
my heart,
let
warmth
infuse my
smile
and tenderness
shine
in eyes
once dimmed
by the
icy gloss
of
tears.

let my
smile
welcome
you;
let us
begin
this season
anew...

...and let
it last
for
always!
