Is It Really Love?

Poetry By: Maria Linda
Poetry

Is it really love? You might have asked this question yourself or someone may have asked you this. Love is such a misunderstood word. Only the wise would know the real meaning of love. Only wisdom can give you the answer to this question.

That Ardent Desire And Yearning,

The Fervor Of Skin To Skin Feeling,

Body Touches That Are Nerve-Stimulating,

Is It Really Love?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That Relentless Rushing Emotion,
The Inflamed And Unyielding Obsession,
Sweet Kisses That Blurs Wise Decision,
Is It Really Love?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That Nagging Fear Of Losing The Person,

The Intoxicating Display Of Affection,

Sensual Thoughts That Fire Up Perilous Passion,

Is It Really Love?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That Willingness To Give Body And Soul To A Mate,
That Decietful Thought That You're Free To Do It Sans The Marriage Sacrament,
Fornication That Leaves Your Body Plundered, Feeling Like A Waste,
Is It Really Love?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Is It Really Love Or Mere Lust?

Is It Really Love Or A Cunning Self-Love?

Is It Really Love Or An Undealt Insecurity?

Is It Really Love Or Plain Stupidity?
