memories of you

through my soul

words pounding my brain

like boulders

crushing my resolve

everything comes back

like undead kisses

the words i wrote for you

so soon after I sent them

she left

do you remember?

remember me?

you still smell my scent

floating through your mind

and i still watch you

from afar

cutting and kissing

we bonded

in blood

and lust

creating a life

we could not live

a desperate dream of nothing

remember my words?

remember my words?

burn those tears from my eyes and etch them

into the scars

we created

deep cataclysmic love bond

from across the universe

gouging through thought and time

we made a way to feel

those words

those unspoken promises

coma bound demons

could not keep you away

from me

even as you lived your dream

you would come

to that dark place

and pull me

from my slumber

with a kiss

in front of my prince

you did not suffer

his wrath

you had no care for him

you remembered me

you remembered me

my words,"the truth"

she had just left you

and you were free

do you remember?

all of our secrets

all of our lies

spells of death, chanting

you held me every night

you kissed me

every day

you loved me

because i was unique

you honored me

and i died for you

with each kiss you gave to her

i died

with each sentence, every word

a perversion

i cut those words into my heart

i burned your kisses into my soul

i was chaste and pure and yours

and you left me

atop the infinite abyss

lonely and forsaken, betrayed

for another

physical form I could not compete with

you chose life

and left me

in darkness

to struggle and weep and curse

i was raped

and fucked

and left alone to die

fed to the wolves

without you

should have been by my side

you should have moved

heaven and earth

to be

with me

remember me?

remember those words spoken,

so long ago?

i do

i remember you

i remember you
