Get me away from this easy decay
I want the struggle, I want the fight
A savage garden growing uncontrolled
For remorseless acts, my true delight

So many who cannot see
So many matches, I laugh at the possibility
As under an altered night sky,
somehow invisibly passing by, deliberately

Give me a chance
I’ll give it away
Give me a glimpse
I’ll close my eyes

Give me nothing
I’ll battle to death
Give me death
And I come to life

So, I find this night does carry the same unrestrained wind
That once gave to me a gift, pure and sweet
A mind caught beneath;
A mind intertwined, savagely in mine

Now, other minds did join in the coil
Weeds fighting for their needs;
And through chaos, most withering,
A few holding tight

One not so savage, almost mild
Trying not to waste away
And madly in love with all my others
I’d say, that way they stay

But I came to this place seeking something of magic
And found it holds no tragic rabbit
No invalid flower to let me be
No virgin princess to set me free
