San Francisco Homeless on the busy streets of Van Ness I used to drive by everyday. These were actually song lyrics written a long time ago that never made it. View table of contents...

Freeway holds the polished golds of former runaways
Ran where they can, the run is fun, and gold does slip away
Now sittin out there, no time to care, my vision sees it through
Troubled eyes aim to the sky where their stars are gonna lose
Free is sickness, one leg Willy
Tell me your star shines true
Two’s the number that's on my mind
But its always one in this place,
-I’ve forced the stay
Been locked up and locked down in monetary mines
Just waiting for the sun to float away
The sun is tired, forced and fired,
The sun will float away

thanks, will do

Aw, I liked this a lot especially the last few lines but this was my favourite "Been locked up and locked down in monetary mines, Just waiting for the sun to float away" as if waiting for there moment. I'm inspired! Did you still write music? ~ Nixie

Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you liked it. Don't really work on writing music actively now as its hard to find the time to collaborate. Finding myself wanting to write again, so I'm happy for that. if I had a better voice it would open that world up a lot more, but for now i'm content just throwing things out on booksie
