Wherever I go
I bring my misery.
It is on show
For everyone to see.
Surrounded by people,
But so alone.
I have not even a ripple
of courage or backbone.
They grind me into dirt,
And they don't even know it.
I've been so hurt,
I'm such a twit.
So do I just resign myself?
Shall I just end?
By the day twelfth,
It refuses to mend.
Only in my misery
Am I given solace.
Outwith the misery to me,
They raise candles to my grace.
