Thinking For You

Public appearances are all the rage,
But really, too much effort to stage.
All preparations must be made, see?
The right angles; why not balance on your knee?
Picking posters, red just will not do
Try this one, the circles suit you
And match your dim blue eyes
The roof stops them gazing at the skies.
And then there's the rats,
Squeaking, so dull, they don't know that
The train is coming to crush them down
like an ugly dressing gown,
Push, shove, into the bin
We'll let you out in a min
The lights dazzle my vision,
But I smile anyway to the television
For all you viewers at home,
And perhaps a garden gnome
Why not go put out the washing?
Sit and drink beer, watch it sloshing?
Don't worry if what we say's not true,
We'll do your thinking for you.
