A year ago my grandpa died, consequently, I was in quite a reflective mood for a while about the year that had gone by. Seeing some old friends from pre-uni also helped inspire this.
Enjoy.

And you, knowing the past,
Did not suffer to see me pass.
That bright, newly polished
spark marked another crazed
fellow.
And you, one year ago,
Could not have seen me wave
the passing cruise, and did not see
the marshmallow rays when
You looked starbord to a
Southern Escapade.
And you, knowing my heart aches,
Did not suffer to see my body shake.
The bright, tarnished sugar-candied
point of view, went westwards
when I left you.

Deep piece Matmoo, I do not pretent to understand it fully.

I agree that it is very deep. I can try to peel back layers, but I'm afraid almost all of it will remain a riddle to me. You definitely knew what you were talking about and wanted to say. A great piece to think over.
