Dying Lover

The sky was blue,

When I chose you,

It then turned gray,

When you went away.

You turned me down,

Left without a sound,

you have gone away,

Leaving me nowhere to stay.

My hear burntblack,

My eyes burn red,

Why can't youcome back,

After what you said.

You toldme you loved me,

thatyou wish to be with me,

Sowhy would you leave me,

Even after all you told me.

So hereI pray,

Holding your cold hands,

I cry thepain away,

Knowing you'll be safe in God'shands.
