Well i just wanted to post this before i go on holiday. There are times in life when we just need to stand back from all that's going on around us, and just feel life without thought, and hopefully reconnect with who we are. Matthew! So good to read a poem from you - it has been a long time. As usual, your poem transported me to another realm. I think I am going to take print outs of all your poems and read them after a stressful day.
I love Impressionist paintings, especially by Monet. But I also love the Pre-Raphaelites. Must be the right brain / left brain thing.
Let's hope you return from your Greek holiday with some more gems for us. Have a great time.

Mirrored in movements of light
Watch them dance
Trees of childhood dreaming
Be the child in a hat
Feel the wind upon your cheek
Be a boat and its reflection....
And i see myself surrounded by lovely cheerful memories of my childhood
By the way - are u a mind reader??
