The voice I heard today; I heard it on
a summer vine, hazy in the first throws
of morning; slanting on the summer pathways
as I walk through the seasoned fruits of your

mind. Your voice caught the song of summer skies;
the lazy Sunday afternoons, lemonade
and a picnic by the playful river,
laying cushioned in your arms, while the bees

flit from the half eaten jam sandwiches.
And here while the crowds play in summer
water I listen to the sounds your voice gave
life to. We lay content sharing this moment
stripped to the nakedness of love, as your voice
sings in my heart of the pathways still to come.

Matthew, Matthew, are there strings attached to you so we can pull you back down? lol. sounds like you are floating in love clouds ^_^
each moment with her is prolonged to such a degree through the uplift of joy that the entire day is encapsulated in passing thoughts of her. does that sound close? this poem is as if a dream is echoed throughout the waking day.
it is very nice to be able to feel the pleasures through reading this ^_^
