Matty, you should have named this Lucky.
because once in every life love should treat you so kind.
This is not only a poem...it's an epiphany and only written when felt. That's why you should call it Lucky.

Matt, there's a lot of faith in your words, optimism is a courageous trait and one I commend you for it. Some might call this love at first sight, that only happens to one in a million. Follow your heart, Matt. ~ Nixie

:D A hypnotizing magnetic pull ^_^ that's what it reminds me of. of course I love your discriptions better. Love at first sight? well I feel that what ever it is, it is meant to be, like you made some sort of pact before you were born maybe. haha well,
did you ask her out?

Ah, that's a very lucky woman, Matt. Your words are breathtaking and eloquent. Its one of those poems that literally gets a physical response from the reader. The heart beats faster, the pulse speeds up. I've reread it several times and it keeps happening. "And there she held me in total silence" stops me everytime. Its really amazing and sweet. You've done such a wonderful job!

Not only a beautiful women but a most beautiful poem to do that women justice (lucky she) The love shines from your words and this is profoundly readable and gives the reader a sense of a beautiful, caring man behind the words.

Matt, what a moving poem! Indeed lucky, it's amazing what you can see in a face isn't it? I do believe in love at first sight, it's that moment where you both look at each other and connect with out words. It's recognition, and I felt that in this. Great poem! ~ KB

Excellent write, it's very well written and I love the ending, a truely beautiful poem.

Ah, such admiration I'm sure every woman has dreamt to have directed at her. There's a certain throwback to more courtly ways, in the words used in your poem-- loving, tender and detailed homage to a lover's beauty. The true sparkle in your poem is how the desire may have begun with a pretty face, but endured because of a deeper love, a stronger connection.
If this art truly imitates life, she is one lucky lady and you are unbelievably blessed.
Take care.

I love the "big bang" reference and its comparison in the poem. You write so beautifully! Wow I am more than impressed and it makes me hope that one day someone gets this feeling from me. Really nice job!

This poem is beautiful - I love it. :) It flows perfectly, and I can almost feel your emotion behind it just by reading it. Amazing job! :) I'd begun to lost hope, but your poem helped me realize again that there is such a thing as love at first sight - thank you for that. Any woman would be lucky to have such a flattering poem written about her.
