A Prophesy

In shadows, a wasteland tearing up my mind.
A crimson sun, a bleak dead world inside my head.
Coal black clouds racing across the sky, their shapes a
                warning.
Small shrubs bent, blackened and twisted.
A warm foul wind blows across the wasteland.
In the distance shapes contort and melt with heat.
No more stars will shine again in the crimson sky.
Dark shadows move across my vision, caring a warning.

the weapons of destruction will be in future,
unless the world wakes up and becomes more aware.
To change for the better, to protect this small planet.
To care about others, animals, trees, and environment.
This heavy lesson all men, women, and children must learn.
To keep this crimson wasteland far in the future.

In sunshine a land full of life filling up my mind.
A bright yellow sun, a vibrant world inside my head.
White puffy clouds racing across the sky, in the shapes,
                hope.
Small shrubs growing green and healthy reach for the sun.
A cool breeze blows across the field of green.
In the distance shapes stand tall and prod providing shade.
Millions of stars shine down through a midnight-blue sky.
Violet shadows move across my vision caring hope.
