Battle II

The darkness enfolds the land,
Doom and destruction are close a hand.

Warriors ride to fight for valor
Their kings might give them high honor.

Armies of soldiers march to battles,
to defend their castles.

The hillsides are filled with cries,
The angry call of torment rise.

Nature in all her anger calls,
upon the elements at her call.

Storms and floods, rain and snow
still they do not slow.

Ages and ages the war rages.
Calling fourth all race and ages.

Finally silence falls upon the land
Destruction has won this hand.

Clouds of smoke fill the sky
Why did so many have to die?

No one won, everyone lost
No one gained from such a high cost.
