Katies Half Century.
So Katie is half a century young,
The glass half full, again, my girl?
Katie’s fiftieth! Time has flung,
a woman, through a timely twirl
into a better half of One hung-
Dread.
This from one who’s further on
along the road to two times fifty.
One who is flirting with seventy one,
one who still tap dances, pretty nifty.
And could not care less. Bring it on!
Life is too short for "I’ll try it on"
Lift it up!
Smack it’s bot.
Light the lights!
Katie! You’re on.
