Cold and Empty

It's cold and empty

Empty and still

You blink for a second

Where's your will?

Many ways to go

All exits out

Follow the empty road

Try not to shout

Your body stays

It rots behind

No one's inside

No one can dine

We fear what this is

Of what it could be

We all fear death

As strange as it seems

We fear the dark

We fear the monsters

Because they could kill

Less than a second

Where do we go?

What do we see?

The light touches the Earth

And all things leave...
