The actor twirls in frills

From under the rimmed hat.

A twinkled smile lit a match

On the bomb where he sat.

Inevitably, clocks will time out

the breathing light.

Ironically, in lighters

Are the creators of night.

Unearthed by few

Yet known by many.

Rumoured in thoughts

And whispers if any.

The white piece of parchment

Will crumble and fold

And the invisible ones take

That which we had been told.

Them with their black eyes

Leer from aside,

Waiting to travel on and

Away with the tide.

Please do not cower

From their longing and fear.

It's almost dawn and

The invisible ones are near.
