Driving with memories in the rain.

By M. E. Riddle

Thinking to myself

Unsure if reality

Has escaped my mind

As semi trucks pass on by.

Windshields wipe away

Moisture the morning made

Easy to listen to

The rhythm they do.

The noise of the motors

Swish back and forth

Remembering memories

Keeping them close.

The windshields are eyes

Sometimes moist

Most days dry.
