Today's Haiku's

By M. E. Riddle

A girl's memory

Can be a warm cotton coat

Always stored away.

The rain washed out smiles

Tomorrow, a new day looms

Yesterday's storm gone.

Defiant people

Cause uneasy violence

Unleashing spilled oil.

Drug test tomorrow

Think I'll go to Joe's Tavern

And do some homework.
