Title says it all really, although who is Bambi? Why the metaphor? Who really cares? View table of contents...

My name is Bambi. And I have sinned

I was raped last week, how they grinned.

Again and again, bound over a log

They tried to gag me, but that didn't work.

Left broken and bleeding,

And viloated.

By those who would heal me,

Forgive all my sins.

Sex before marriage, is what they will say.

I say free speach,

wasn't meant to be this way.

Aww, don't feel bad for Bambi, she's just a metaphor for free speach. Thanks for your comment! Meth.

Neil: Is it true, Bambi? Did you do a Disney Nastie?

Bambi: Yes... Its not something I'm proud of...

I wonder how many people will get your point. Lets face it, like I said to you the other night, people's stupidity scares me. Like, for example, someone might read this and think I'm arrogant and egotistical. Truth? I'm referring to a conversation between you and I that they know nothing about and yet they must have their say, even without knowing all the facts.
Rules were set in place by fools who couldn't think outside the box (even though there is no box) and its to restrain those of us who can. I believe in free speech; I'll say what I like and f**k the establishment. Why? Because I f**king can. I vote, I pay my taxes, ergo, I'm entitled to it.
So somebody wrote a poem about rape. Big f**king deal. Would you rather they write about it or go and do it?

Honestly? This site has gone to hell. Why? Because of petty disagreements over who said what. Um, did I miss something or are we adults, people?
I am an artsist and as such, no rules can tell me what I can and cannot do. The world doesn't like it? Then the world can kiss my arse.
5* by the way.

Ha ha! I've never seen Bambi either!

I was searching through the list of past poems to find one that I read previously, to write something about free speach - and the title of this drew me in. I thought it was going to be something about animals. Anyhoot, I obviously don't know the conversation but I can say what I think of this poem.

Up until the end I thought it was about being raped by the church, physically/mentally. The 'sex before marriage' bit made me think about the church rules of no sex before marraige but what about the preists that take a kids virginity, what is the person supposed to do then? And at the end, to me it was like it was saying the church has the freedom of speach, but of course it's not meant to be that way! Well, it may have meant nothing like that but it's good when people can make their own stuff up out of someone's work.

Exactly! It's YOUR crossword puzzle, make out of it whatever you want, i'm glad you picked up that part of it. When someone creates something, it is for their reasons, but that doesn't mean it can't be interpreted or enjoyed by someone else in a different way. Many thanks for you comment.
