How I detest you,
How I despise you.
You arrive unannounced,
Your name I dare not pronounce.
You are but an emotion,
A feeling of devotion.
You are but an illusion,
No more than a mind's confusion.
You bring agony,
You are cause of insanity.
You're the wolf in sheep clothing,
You come, devour and leave nothing.
You are but an eclipse,
You block out the light,
You turn days into night.
You are the deceiver of hearts,
You present yourself,
Then jab your darts.
You are but a feeling,
I detest you,
I curse you,
I find you unappealing.
