Poetry By: Mezquiteno

A poem of some people's views of present-time educators. ( TO be more precise, college professors)

They sit on their imaginary throne,

And believe that policies are written in stone.

They tell you to listen and learn,

Yet your respect they don't bother to earn.

They walk around with such arrogance,

And have for criticism very low tolerance.

They are the educators of our future,

Yet they are imperious by nature.

They dictate your past, future and present.

They actlike kingsand treat you like a peasant.

Excuses are but weakness to them,

Yet they forget when they couldn't stop making them.

They are the educators of our times,

The one's who takeabsences and turn them into crimes.
