Dark and cold,
you seem bold.
Lacking color,
Lacking odor.
Yet embracing,
Truly amazing.
Showing stars,
planets and mars.
Wonderful night,
Show me the light.
Show me the way,
Dont go away.
Tell me your secrets,
We'll listen to crickets.
I'll tell you my sorrows,
In them some horrors.
I'll listen to you,
Whisper to you.
Daylight comes soon,
I will awake by noon.
Wait until your arrival,
In you I find a friend,
And a rival.
