Corruption isn't a pure substance,
It's a mix of many evils into one.
An evil so abundant that affects all.
Thin, fat, short and tall.
Running through our cities and towns,
Through our veins without making a sound.
In the air, and through the ground,
Found in a sinister smile or a sad frown.
Corruption is that which we all hate,
Yet it remains with us like an unwanted date.
It's dirty claws have cut deep,
Leaving behind only cries, or a silent wheap.
