SOMETHING I WROTE ABOUT THOSE DAYS IN WHICH THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE..

SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE I'M IN A HOLE OF SADNESS,
LIKE I LIVE IN A WORLD OF MADNESS.
REALITY SETS IN AT TIMES AND BRINGS ME TO TEARS,
MEMORIES FLASH IN MY HEAD OF MY HAPPIER YEARS.

I FEEL LIKE THE WORLD IS ON MY SHOULDERS,
LIKE I'M CARRYING A MOUNTAIN OF BOULDERS.
MY DAYS AND WEEKS RUN TOGETHER,
FEELING LIKE A HOPELESS FLOATING FEATHER.

THERE ARE DAYS IN WHICH MY STRENGTH FAILS,
DAYS IN WHICH THE SADNESS PIERCES LIKE NAILS.
SOMETIMES I WISH I WAS A CHILD ONCE AGAIN,
TO RETURN TO THE PLACE WHERE MY LIFE BEGAN.

THROUGH IT ALL I FIND THE STRENGTH TO CONINUE,
I CONTINUE WALKING THROUGH LIFE'S AVENUE.
SOMETIMES MISSING THE OBVIOUS THINGS,
MISSING THE JOY THAT LIFE SOMETIMES BRINGS.
