I stumbled upon a precious coin,
Looking at it noticed it was of gold.
Though the rich-club I wanted to join,
I gave it to a homeless man out in the cold.
Through his sadness I saw a faint smile,
I smiled back with great satisfaction.
We didn't say a word to each other for a while,
But we both knew that this was a rare action.
I walked away feeling a something I never had felt,
Something which filled a deep void within my soul.
Destiny to the man and I a rare card had delt,
Two torn lives that day it had decided to sew.
