I'll be your fan if you'll be mine,
Read my work when you have time.
What a lousy way to make fans,
Is there no talent in your hands?
A true poet or writer doesn't ask,
The lack of talent they try to mask.
Becoming a fan is one's choice,
It's not influenced by a begging voice.
People either like your work or don't,
They'll either be your fans or they won't.
When did our great poets beg for fans?
Yet if I asked many here I would see many hands.
