Looking around desperately
Searching for an escape
Running, falling, tripping, slipping
Off the edge of cold black slate
You hit the ground unphased
Get up and fall again
Blundering around, screaming
'How did this begin?'
Blood, tears, and sweat
Stream mingled down your face
Through it you catch a glimpse of something
He says his name is Fate
He wraps his arms around you
And at first you try to fight
But his touh is soothing, loving
And it puts aside your fright
But just as you start to trust him
He turns on you in a flash
Laughing at you mercilessly
He knows you can't go back
He comes at you
Knife in hand
And you feel it enter your skin
Delving deep into your chest
And you'll never feel again
