Lying here with you
Lying by your side
Oh, how I wish
We weren't living a lie
Right now I don't want
To hear the truth
I am satisfied
Living this lie with you
You roll sleepily over
Put your arm over me
You mutter something
Quietly in your sleep
I smile and gently
Kiss your ilips
I press myself against you
And make a futile wish
A wish that was never
Meant to come true
Because you never loved me
As I have loved you
But rigth now I am content
In our superficial world
Lying alongside you
Being your girl
Living this lie
Is fine with me
So don't wake me up
While I'm living this dream
