My now shattered

As I sit here within the shadows of this room,

No longer could I feel

That love that once was.

Just like Romeo and Juliet,

Two star-crossed lovers

Whose love for each other can never be.

All that I have now is the memory of her,

To hold close to me.

Shall I ever love again?

Or be lost within the darkness

Of my own soul?

Only time will tell

For now that is all that I have.

Unfortunately it is. My muse is gone. But I am sure that I can find inspirtion again. At least I hope so. I'm glad that you liked the poem. You are always a good friend.

The darkness will shine again. The windows will be open. The sunshine will start peaking through the shades until the walls are covered with light. The doors will open wider. The misery you once knew? Will be just that, Once!

I hate when that happens!
Truly sentimental and we feel your shattered heart.

The hardest part is to walk away remembering the good and not letting the bad destroy future endeavors.
