Can you feel it upon the air,
in the dark distance it comes
ready to bring its destruction to me.
Flash of light, demanding thunder,
expecting me to quiver like a child
and run away and hide.
But I do not,
as I stand there alone
waiting for it to arrive.
Bring on the storm,
I am not afraid of what will come,
for I will stand strong
and face whatever it shall bring.
No matter what does happen,
I know that I have the strength to survive.
I will face its wrath
and come out the hero,
to no one else's eyes but my own.
For in the end,
that is all that matters.
Being able to face the challenges
this world has and its rage,
for I am tired of hiding
and will do that no longer.
Face me world,
I am ready for you!

Thanks I am so glad that you like it. It is something that just came to me tonight as a rain storm rolled in.
