for one of my previous friends..this is a poem of how you can have everything and lose it all..

Always getting what you want,
But never what you need.
Taking more than you deserve,
And deserving less indeed.

So satisfy for your pleasure,
For instant gratification.
Living completely for yourself,
Is your only retaliation.

Utterly bound for nowhere,
With sorrow on your back.
More and more everyday,
You begin to see what you lack.

Striving for false attention,
You will take what they offer.
But never getting what you want,
Leaves you as the scoffer.
