For every mistake that I have ever made,
I can promise that a price will be paid.
A simple sorry will never do,
Because I broke your heart and gave it back to you.

Can I take your heart and make it whole,
Or just rot in hell along with my soul?
A piece of me died along with a piece of you,
So maybe this sorry will help you through.

So as I stare into the depths of the sea,
I pray the gentle tide will come to swallow me.
So in my death you shall truly live,
To set you free, my life I would give.

And as I sink to the bottom of the ocean floor,
I open my eyes to see something more.
Your diving down to try to rescue me,
Its to late, I close my eyes and my soul is free.
