The House Upon The Hill part one

Poem By: Michael L Lewis
Poetry

Some of the events happened to me as I was growing up.
My Grandmothers houses always seem to be haunted, But
one place we lived on St. Clairs crossing between the
crossroads is where I experienced some really scary
moments. I still think about it today. View table of contents...

The house upon the hill

is haunted still.

As I played upon my bed

it began to shake,

my heart began to ache

with fear!

No-one was home

I was there all alone,

or

so I had thought?

Breathing heavy down the stairs

I flew.

Not touching one out of forty-two!

Once outside from the window of

my room, I saw the curtains move

I know that thing up there

is watching everything I do!

I love this but the highlights kill it. Otherwise a good poem.

yea, I wished I hadn't done that. I started to listen to
my instinct and not do it, but as usual I do it anyway.
Thanx alot for the comments though.

This is very good Michael and though I love the black & red (colours of my football team!) it is a bit hard to read. The title really caught my eye because I have a poem - and a short story - and a beginning novel!! about 'the house on the hill"!!!!!!!!

Wow, that is spooky. Ha, Ha! Yea I started not to use the
red on black because of that problem. On part two I will
use black. Thanx for all the reads and comments.

Won't be able to sleep now - THANKS.
