What is life
with no-one to love,
to care for-to touch.
Caressing the warm
silk softness
of the pale flesh.
What is life
with no companion,
to calm the tears
from the cheek,
to hold so tightly
that you become weak.
To look deep into the
eye's that seem to have
no end.
To call upon your lover
a companion, a friend.
What is life
with no-one to embrace
Taking long walks
hand in hand
becoming lost in each
others eye's as the heart
soars above the clouds.
we then kiss the soft wet
lips of ecstacy.
What is life
without you?
but
A darkened cell
in an empty room.

Lovely poem, definitely pulls on the heartstrings. It's amazing, the way you desribed everything, lets just say it makes me feel like my writing is awful (granted it probably is) You have a unique writing style and it is breathtaking. Amazing. I am humbled by your writing.

Good poem. Makes one stop and think about their loved one.
