Write me a poem, a story of love,

a tale of an angel sent from above.

A ravishing beauty, with eyes burning bright

filled with a love for me at first sight!

Write me poem of boldness and wit,

of dangerous places and men who won't quit...

a tale of great deeds, and passion unbound -

a story of heroes, and men of renown!

Write me a poem straight from your heart,

give it an ending, a middle, a start,

Make the end happy as all ends should be -

write down a poem and send it to me.

Michael T Ingram:

Most effectively well written. Enjoyable and entertaining as well. The rhythm sounds familiar. Liked it.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

Ed, the rhythym sounded familiar to ME, too, although I'm not sure why...I read a LOT, so maybe I was borrowing a style from somewhere else...it's NOT my usual style, for true.

Thank you for your kind evaluation.

Wonderful poem with excellent adjective. Makes me think of a book, "Tess of D'Urvervilles", by Thomas Hardy.

Thank you...I was feeling kind of happy that day, and it may have shown. I don't know Thomas Hardy, or the book, but love to read, so I will probably get a copy and check it out.

Thanks again!

So sweet.
I liked the rhyme, and the flow of
your words. Good job, keep it up.
Happy writing.
