singing in the shower

Poetry By: MichelleWilliams
Poetry

This could be summarized as so many different things, like all poems. Some might say showers are a comforting enjoyment agianst our mortality? Personally I just love singing in the shower.

Singing in the shower

My favourite part of the day,

To feel the drip drip of fine crystals

As they wash my worries away.

like a cool wax, it moulds to your body

Whether becoming pudge,

Or wearing rather thin

Water does not judge.

It holds you

Warms you,

Takes off the day's shield

To make you feel anew.

The toss of my head

The movement of my lips

As I sing away my worries

Along to my haven's drip drip.

The only embracer

Who does not take

You'll be round, when its time

For my heart to break.

And ill sing to you

I don't care who hears,

A song of love, of happiness, of anything

Just until my head clears.

The only one who prepares me

Oils before I rust,

For tomorrow life once again

Will try to cover you in dust.
