Angel of Death
She entered into a domain,
she noticed that the words on the graves were fading away.
She stood still for a moment, taking it all in.
The silence was so thick, you couldn’t even hear the wind.
Walking over, she sat on a wall.
Out of the silence, a crow calls.
It tells the secrets of those who have passed.
Secrets they want to share and have someone listen to them at last.
The wind starts to blow.
If you listen close, you hear voices that are quite low.
She had entered a domain and she knew it was time.
The spirits told her that her soul would be mine.
I walk in between darkness and light.
She will cross the worlds and enter into mine tonight.
