Frost freezing on the windowpane
Watch the snowplow drive down the lane
Fresh snow buries the lawns
I wait all winter dreaming of the dawn
Carolers sing their merry tunes
Frost hangs obscuring the moon
Stars twinkle on the day of Jesus’ birth
Jesus held tight to this holy earth
It is to dress the tree
It is a special time for you and me
Peace on earth and joy to the world
