“Beep!” At The Tone--err--Something Should Happen!
I’ve never seen anything remotely like it,
Blatantly ignoring the will of the people
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t we just have an election?
We elected not only a man, but also our beliefs
See, the way it’s supposed to work is,
We cast our vote for the direction we’d like to see
The country go in; it’s called a democracy
But you lost, and pretty badly too,
Yet, what do I see? You doing nothing,
Which I must say, you’re excellent at!
Why did we even bother to vote, if it doesn’t mean jack?
A dysfunctional party, colored bright red,
Lost, and has taken their toys and gone home,
Leaving the country to pay the price
With your empty rhetoric about ‘how much you care’
Please, if you really cared you’d stay and work,
And quit ignoring the will of the MAJORITY!
