Can Someone Explain?
What makes an otherwise seemingly-normal person
Turn into a hate-spewing bastard online
Regurgitating the same old rants that were proven to be false
It seems the truth doesn’t matter to them,
No, what they believe must be correct,
No matter that anyone who can think sees it for a lie
Where does this unreasonable hate come from?
Is it just a knee-jerk reaction to what they want to believe?
They don’t see any proof that says differently
Otherwise rational people coming off the rails,
With personal hatred, and this, I can’t understand
Can anyone explain this to me?
