Electronic Frustration
“Welcome to the computer age, Mr. Mike
Hope you’re ready for frustration, my friend
A bunch of wires and circuits who can outsmart you;
Not that that takes any great effort!
Don’t even try to understand; it’s hopeless
You thought yourself fairly intelligent, well think again
We have assumed control; better go back to bed
We are the electronic gremlins, who make your life a living hell!
We hear you shouting in frustration, but we don’t care
Such creative swear words, but they’ll go for not
Don’t even try to understand what the hell’s going on,
Because you can’t, unless you have a computer degree,
And maybe not even then; just sit back and enjoy the ride!"
