My Brother’s Keeper
The cruelty and deprivation we heap on others is shocking!
The lack of caring for others by certain politicians is shocking!
What’s not shocking is why some people feel this way
Because in their world, being selfish is the normal way
In their world, it’s finders, keepers!,
I’ve earned it, and it’s a keeper!"
It’s, “I got mine, and you can piss off!”
Something about that attitude is way off!
Whatever happened to, the “I am my brother’s keeper” saying?
