Not Seeing is Believing
Her Story:
She is in love, an electronic love by long distance
He’s so warm, so caring, his words sweep her doubts away
She can tell him anything; secrets known to only her
He’s amazing; his life’s an open book
So many things do they share in common
Mountain climbing, jigsaw puzzles, and the list goes on and on!
She’s never felt this way online before
She used to be wary, but his pleasant ways take all that away
Like a comfortable pair of shoes; he just fits her way of life
And they’re the same age; imagine, what are the odds?
His Story:
Oh man, he’s really got a gullible one
She said she was 22, so he became the same
He pats his beer belly, and get’s ready to type
Lovey dovey; man, what a load of bull!
That’s the beauty of the computer age,
You can pretend to be anything, or any one!
Just a little while longer, and then he can work on achieving his goal
Of fleecing her of a lot of money
Just be patient, he tells himself
Good things come to those who wait,
And it doesn’t hurt to have a naive,
Gullible person on the other end of the line!
