Uncaring
A deadly school shooting, of kids for god sake
Their lives will never be the same,
Yet, what do I read? “Don’t touch my guns!”
These uncaring people are mad,
Because someone dared to suggest
Slightly tougher gun laws; maybe an assault rifle ban
It boggles my mind, and it makes me feel sad,
That after several innocent kids are gunned down,
The first and only thing they care about is ‘their rights’
I guess nothing’s as important as their right to pack heat
Common sense safety laws will cramp their style!
After all, this is America, we’re free to be armed to the teeth,
And if 1,2, or 50 kids are caught in the crossfire,
So be it; I’ve got the right to be fricking John Wayne!
