What’s Up with That?

Has the whole country gone crazy, or is it just me?
Wait, don’t answer that, but, what’s up with that?
I watch the news; can’t believe what I see
Political rhetoric seemingly pulled out of a hat
That if we believe, shame on us!
And yet reported as if it might me true
We need Will McAvoy* to tell it like it is, cause
We’re being fed a line; me and you!
*The name of Jeff Daniels character on ‘The Newsroom’
